About Tina Tina de Groot is een in Nederland gevestigde animator die bekend staat om haar gebruik van de olieverf-op-glas-techniek. In 2017 studeerde ze af aan de Hogeschool voor de kunsten in Utrecht met een diploma in 2D-animatie. Sindsdien heeft Tina verschillende korte films, commercials, en videoclips gemaakt voor onder anderen The wanderer, DWDD en de VPRO. Haar films combineren traditionele schildertechnieken met moderne animatie technologieën om een schilderachtige, poëtische esthetiek te creëren die de kijker meeneemt op droomachtige reis. Tina blijft werken aan nieuwe projecten en blijft experimenteren met technieken en stijlen om haar kunst voortdurend te ontwikkelen en te vernieuwen. English: Tina de Groot is an animator based in the Netherlands known for her use of the oil on glass technique. In 2017 she graduated from the Utrecht School of Arts with a degree in 2D animation. Since then Tina has made several short films, commercials and video clips. Her films combine a traditional painting techniques with modern animation technologies to create a painterly, poetic aesthetic that takes the viewer on a dreamlike journey.
